Privacy Policy
Effective September 8, 2026
Our approach
Focusly is designed to work without an account. Your tasks, focus sessions, preferences, and progress information are stored locally on your device.
Data we collect
Focusly does not upload your tasks, notes, focus history, or sound mixes. We do not collect advertising identifiers, location, contacts, or payment card details. We do not sell data or track you across apps or websites.
Subscriptions and RevenueCat
Apple processes optional Focusly Pro purchases. RevenueCat processes purchase history, subscription status, product and transaction identifiers, and an anonymous app user identifier to validate purchases, restore access, and provide subscription analytics. We do not give RevenueCat your task content, name, email address, or advertising identifiers. Purchase data is not linked to your identity by Focusly.
Purchase records are retained as needed to maintain subscriptions, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations. For privacy questions or deletion requests, contact us below. Apple manages payment records under its own privacy policy. See RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy for its processing practices.
Notifications
If you grant permission, Focusly schedules local notifications on your device to alert you when a session ends. Notification content is not sent to Focusly or a third party.
Data control and deletion
You can reset Focusly data from Profile. Deleting the app also removes its locally stored data, subject to Apple device backup behavior.
Children
Focusly is a general productivity app and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly request personal information from children. Please contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.
Changes
If Focusly’s data practices change, this policy will be updated before the new practices take effect.
